Use of drones in construction
We examine, where others do not come!

The biggest advantages of guided missiles in the construction industry are that it is possible to have a specific object, be it a building, a construction site, a terrain, traffic routes or similar. From a desired perspective to look up close, what otherwise scaffolding, ladders, pallet trucks or industrial climbers and a lot of time is needed.

Drones make it possible with comparisonAs a result, little effort has to be made to inspect even very difficult-to-access building areas such as eaves, dormers, roofs, gutters, chimneys, flat roofs or facades and to document any damage and photographically record it. The drone camera on the lower side captures every detail, every cleaning damage and every broken sheet metal. Such inspection flights make it possible to exactly define repairs.

Later in the office, the captured images and videos can be zoomed in and make a few millimeters large objects recognizable.

When checking the airtightness of building envelopes (blower door test), an air leak detection according to ENEV from the air is made easier and more precise.

Thermography cameras on drones also offer enormous possibilities in terms of the energetic aspect. Thermal images of building envelopes can be made that reveal energy losses and reveal thermal bridges.

An exact determination of the original state of a building or a construction work and its environment, but also their intermediate states (precautionary evidence), is a complex process. Through the use of drones, it is feasible to create overall images of terrain and buildings in their original condition and to make them legally enforceable in court.

Of course, the recordings of the drone can also be used ideally for marketing purposes. Panoramic images from high altitude can be used to create simulations using VR glasses.

Our seminars

Proof of knowledge
§ 21 d LuftVO

The "drone driver's license" - for drones with a total weight of more than 2 kg, a proof of knowledge has been required since October 1, 2017 in accordance with § 21d LuftVO. This proof can only be awarded by a body recognized by the Luftfahrt-Bundesamt and is valid for five years.

The course offers you the opportunity to acquire the required proof of knowledge and is also of interest to anyone who wants extensive information on the handling of drones and the legal basis. The "flying with drones" is first examined in detail in theory. Among other things, the subjects of aviation law, navigation and meteorology are discussed. The acquired knowledge will be proven at the end of the course in an exam.

This course is aimed at all drone enthusiasts who want to use a drone from 2 kg in the future privately or professionally. In addition to professional groups in the field of fire, police and agricultural and construction, such as architects, civil engineers, experts, roofers, etc.

Content:
- General theory
- Air Law
- Navigation
- Meteorology
- Examination to obtain evidence of proof

Practical training with the
Yuneec H520

You will receive an introduction and flight training on a hexacopter from the drone manufacturer Yuneec. You will also learn about the possibilities of optical image acquisition. The drones are provided, you are welcome to bring your own aircraft.
In the seminar the practical application is practiced in addition to the basic functions and the Coptertechnik. It deals specifically with the handling of emergency situations and legal issues. In addition, the autonomous flying of missions is demonstrated.

Use of drones in construction and surveying

This seminar is aimed at all construction professionals who are considering using drones in their day-to-day work. Basics, application areas as well as practical applications are presented. Also, possible areas of application and application are communicated in the scope of the seminar. Target group for this seminar are architects, civil engineers, experts, roofers, etc.

Use of drones with thermographic camera

End of August 2018, the new thermal and low-light camera of the company Yuneec was introduced, which now allows a use in construction. The resolution allows the detection of thermal bridges, hotspots etc. with an accuracy that is suitable for use in a construction or planning office. The seminar will explain the possibilities of thermography from the air with their fields of application. The target group for this seminar are architects, civil engineers, heat protection experts, thermographers, solar engineers, roofers, etc.

YUNEEC H250

Designed for inspection, construction, security, law enforcement, surveying and mapping applications that require the highest levels of flight time, security and flexibility, the H520 can be equipped with a variety of camera systems that are ideal for professional photo and filming. Its robust construction with low-interference precision compass, the stable and extremely precise flight of the H520 and the extensive safety concept make it a copter for demanding professionals and users who are looking for the best in the private sector as well.
Even in wind and weather, the 6-rotor system allows a precise flight and ensures that the Hexacopter flies safely even if one of the rotors should fail. The powerful U-Blox processor enables precise determination of the position of the H520 using the GPS, Glonass and Galileo satellite systems. The extremely energy-efficient engine management together with the rotors ensure unusually quiet operation and, depending on the load, can take up to 28 minutes from a HV battery.
